Meet our team

Captain Stephen
Stephen Jeddry is a Nova Scotia entrepreneur and travel enthusiast best known as the creator, builder and Captain of Tiki Tours Halifax, a unique floating experience that brings tropical vibes to the Halifax waterfront. Combining his love for the ocean with a passion for hospitality, Stephen created a business that allows locals and visitors alike to explore Halifax Harbour in a fun, relaxed, and unforgettable way.
Raised in Nova Scotia, Stephen developed a deep connection to the Hospitality Industry from an early age. His background in the Food and Beverage Industry began at 14 when his mother suggested he come work at the restaurant she served at. Growing up in Yarmouth, NS he also fell in love with seafood and the ocean and later became involved with the commercial lobster fishery while spending 6 years building fibreglass fishing vessels in Pubnico, NS. After leaving boatbuilding, Stephen joined the Canada Border Services Agency and for the next 16 years worked in many regions on the frontline of our Canadian borders. In 2015, he joined Halifax Marine Operations and became a commercial vessel Captain.
In 2022, his life changed forever. After the loss of his mother, his best friend and becoming ill himself, he sat down on February 12, 2023 and registered his business Tiki Tours Halifax and started building his first vessel the "Mi Cabana". That spring he resigned from CBSA and on June 16, 2023 sailed out of Eastern Passage and picked up his first tour on the Halifax Waterfront with his son Cody as the Deckhand.
Under Stephen’s leadership, Tiki Tours Halifax has quickly become a standout attraction with two custom built Tiki Boats and a stretched limousine, known for its laid-back atmosphere, friendly crew, and commitment to safety and sustainability. Each tour reflects Stephen’s vision of blending East Coast charm with island-style leisure, creating an experience that celebrates both local culture and global inspiration.
Beyond his business, Stephen is an avid world traveller and advocates for community engagement and waterfront development in Halifax and Dartmouth. He continues to collaborate with local partners to promote tourism, support small businesses, and enhance the city’s reputation as a vibrant coastal destination.
Stephen Jeddry’s philanthropy, entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to creating memorable maritime experiences have made him a respected figure in Halifax’s tourism industry and a proud ambassador of Nova Scotia’s seafaring heritage.

Captain Acacia
Acacia will be joining the team for the 2026 season. After spending the last couple years captaining her own Carver powerboat in and around the Halifax waterways, Acacia is honing her skills and deepening her passion for life on the ocean.
Originally from a small town in Newfoundland, Acacia’s love for the sea runs deep. Growing up surrounded by rugged coastlines and maritime culture, she developed a natural affinity for boating and adventure. When she’s not out on the water, Acacia can often be found at the dog park with her pups, Valerie and Gordie, or enjoying live music at local venues.
Known for her friendly personality and adventurous spirit, Acacia thrives on meeting new people and sharing her enthusiasm for the ocean. She’s excited to combine her love of boating with the opportunity to create memorable experiences for guests aboard Tiki Tours Halifax.
