What's the Cancellation Policy and Waiver?Cancellation Policy Cancellations with a 14 day advance notice will result in no charge. Cancelling your reservation after the 14 day window is non-refundable unless TIKI TOURS HALIFAX has to cancel the reservation. Unfortunately, this includes arriving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, arriving late, no shows, personal emergencies or personal mishaps. If TIKI TOURS HALIFAX has to cancel the reservation due to not enough passengers(4) to complete the tour or inclement weather, mechanical issues or any other reason, you may reschedule or receive a 100% refund. Weather cancellations are determined only by TIKI TOURS HALIFAX. Weather must be inclement at our location at your specific scheduled time. No exceptions. Thank you for understanding our policy and we look forward to having you. Waiver All passengers aboard the Tiki Tour Vessel or Vehicle, must provided proper identification. Any person arriving in an intoxicated condition shall not be allowed on the Tiki Tour Vessel or vehicle. Glass containers are strictly prohibited on the Tiki Tour Boat. The operators of the vessel or vehicle are responsible for the vessel/vehicle and his/her decisions are final. Inappropriate behavior before, during and after the Tiki Tour experience will result in the offending passenger being asked to get off the Tiki vessel or vehicle. These include but are not limited to: - Intoxication, - Bringing beverages onboard - Foul language or gestures, - Excessive noise, - Public urination, - Arguing or fighting,- Creating a danger or hazard to the Tiki Tour vessels/vehicle , Crew, other passengers and/or non-participants / other vessels. - Littering - Unauthorized swimming - Smoking / Vaping, - Moving about the Tiki Tour Boat while the vessel is underway, without permission. - Damaging Tiki Tour Boat property or any public or private property. Any of the above can result in the Operator ending the tour immediately and causing behavior / damage fee of $500 to be charged to each offending passenger's credit card(s). Terminating the tour is at the sole discretion of the Tiki Tour Operator. All laws and rules regarding alcohol will be strictly enforced and apply to all passengers before, during and after the Tiki Tour Boat experience. By executing this agreement, I am authorizing Tiki Tours Halifax to use my picture and experience for promotional and informational purposes. I, the undersigned passenger, acknowledge and understand that during my ride aboard and TIKI TOURS HALIFAX VEHICLES or VESSELS, operated by Tiki Tours Halifax, I may be exposed to a variety of hazards and risks (including Covid 19 and other viruses), foreseen or unforeseen, which are inherent in getting on and off as well as travelling on a commercial tour boat. These inherent risks include, but are not limited to, the dangers of serious personal injury, death and property damage(Injuries and Damages) resulting from, but not limited to: (i) inclement weather; (ii) physical contact with other vessels, (iii) falling or tripping due to hazards, uneven surfaces or debris; (iv) falling from heights, including falling off the Tiki Tour Boat; and (v) other hazards associated with being a passenger on a Tiki Boat. I further acknowledge and understand these injuries and damages cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of the tour. I fully understand that Tiki Tours Halifax has not tried to contradict or minimize my understanding of these risks. I know that injuries and damages can occur by natural causes of activities of other persons, other users, staff of the Tiki Boat or other third parties, either as a result of negligence or because of other reasons. I understand the risks of such injuries and damages involved in a boat charter and I appreciate that I may have to exercise extra care for my own person and for other around me in the face of such hazards. I further understand that there may no be medical personnel of medical facilities or expertise necessary to deal with the injuries and damages to which I may be exposed. In consideration for my acceptance as an eligible user of the vehicle and the services and amenities provided by Tiki Tours Halifax in connection with the tour, I CONFIRM MY UNDERSTANDING OF THE FOLLOWING; RELEASE OF LIABILITY - TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, I AGREE TO WAIVE AND DISCHARGE CLAIMS AGAINST, RELEASE FROM LIABILITY, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HAMLESS, TIKIT TOURS HALIFAX AND IT'S PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES AND AFFILIATES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PAST AND PRESENT OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, STOCKHOLDERS, MANAGERS, MEMBERS, PARTNERS, AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES(COLLECTIVELY, "RELEASED PARTIES" FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL LIABILITY ON ACCOUNT OF, OR IN ANY WAY RESULTING FROM , MY DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RELATED TO MY RIDE ON THE TIKI TOUR BOAT EVEN IF CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES. Furthermore, I understand that the Tiki Tour Boat is of proprietary manufacture and I agree not to build or cause to be built any vehicle of the same of similar construction. This waiver and release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law. If any provision or any part of any provision of this waiver and release is held to be invalid or illegally unenforceable for any reason, the remainder of this waiver and release shall not be effected thereby and shall remain valid and fully enforceable. I have read this waiver and release of liability in it's entirety and I freely and voluntarily choose to use the vehicle and assume all risks of injuries and damages. I acknowledge my waiver of any right I may have to bargain for different terms of this waiver and recognize that a narrower waiver would increase the costs associated with the Tiki Tour vessels/vehicles and/or limit or preclude my use of the Tiki Tour vessels/vehicle. By my signature below, I acknowledge and represent that I am fully aware of the terms of this agreement and agree to be bound by them.

How many passengers can each vessel carry?The maximum capacity of our vessel is 12 passengers during a tour. We offer a two boat rental package that allows you to bring 24 guests and we sail the tour together or apart on two vessels.

Are there bathrooms on board?Yes, each boat has a full clean restroom.

Are there lifejackets on board?Each vessel has 12 Transport Canada Approved Lifejackets and 12 Type 1 PFDs within arms reach for passengers and additional devices for all crew.

Do you operate in the rainy conditions?Every morning, the Captains will discuss and review weather information and sea conditions. There is a chance of rain everyday in Atlantic Canada but small percentages will not affect your tour. If there is a high probability of rain showers or any weather warnings, your tour will likely be cancelled. If cancelled due to weather or mechanical, you can reschedule or request a 100% refund.

What is the behavioural code of conduct?For your safety and the safety of all passengers, you are responsible for staying under control and abiding by our behavioral agreement. If the Captain determines your behavior is inappropriate, you will be removed from the tour without refund and appropriate measures will be taken.

Can I play my own music on board?Both vessels offer high quality JBL speaker systems with Bluetooth and Karaoke. Come prepared with your Tiki playlist and enjoy your favorite jams as we sail the beautiful waterways.

Is there any entertainment?We have a karaoke set on board for musical fun but in 2025 we can now offer onboard entertainment such as Musicians, DJ's and various other performers.

Can I book longer then 2 hours?We can customize any tour. If you book back to back tours, this would give you a 4 hour excursion. If you are having so much fun and want to stay an additional hour, the rate is $350/hr. Depending on availability. We also offer two boat rentals that can take 24 guests out on two boats and cruise the waters together.

Do you serve alcohol?Yes, both vessels we are fully licensed. We offer a wide selection of Coldstream Clear Distillery products and mix several refreshing TIKI cocktails, wines, beers and non alcoholic beverages. We also do special requests, if there is a particular product the group would like to have, such as sparking wines or other. "EVERYTHING TASTES BETTER ON THE WATER"

What are the hours of operation?Tiki Tours Halifax is a seasonal operation that will commence on May 22, 2025, and run until October 12th, weather dependent We monitor our business phone and email year round, so don't hesitate to contact us for all your needs. During peak season, our first tour gets underway at 11am and our last departure is 9:00pm, 7 days a Week. Stephen can be reached 24/7, year round.

Where will the tour take us?Tiki Tours Halifax offers a custom experience based on a collaboration with our Captains and Clients. With safety in mind we take our clients to destinations and landmarks they want to see. All tours will view the very vibrant and scenic Halifax Waterfront, but your tour may also include a beautiful sail through the Northwest Arm or our iconic bridges and the largest Naval Base in Canada. Together we come up with a plan before leaving the dock.

Is there any food on board?Both vessels offer snacks for purchase such as popcorn, chips, Pringles and other snacks. You can also pre-order Charcuterie Board and new in 2025 and based on availability and seasonal pricing will offer lobster rolls.

Do you offer transportation to and from the tour?Tiki Tours Halifax has one of the best tour packages in Canada, book our stretched limousine and let us take care of logistics of parking, taxis, traffic and delays. Our vehicle has led lighting, Karaoke and comfort. Have one of our professional driver pick you up and bring you to and from your tour. Vehicle can carry up to 14 if you need to bring along a photographer but 12 is comfortable and the max for the vessels.
